Where healthy meets delicious

We put plant-based whole foods, variety and flavour at the heart of our cooking and we leave out wheat, dairy and refined sugar.

In February 2016, Encore acquired a majority shareholding in Detox Kitchen, a healthy eating business set up to make London’s high streets healthier, by ensuring that it becomes easier than ever for busy, working Londoners to have access to delicious and natural food that is free from wheat, dairy and refined sugar.

The business, founded in 2012 by entrepreneur and Chef, Lily Simpson, currently incorporates, two central London delis, a convenient, natural and nutritionally balanced meal delivery service and a ready to eat range stocked in Selfridges and Planet Organic - along with a best-selling cookbook.

The Detox Kitchen has announced ambitious growth plans, following a £2million investment led by Encore Capital and leading industry figure Jyotin Sethi (JKS Restaurants) - the entrepreneur behind some of London’s most successful restaurants.

Since investing, Encore has been working closely with Lily Simpson to augment the head office and operational infrastructure and put in place the solid building blocks that will help support an ambitious store roll-out plan.
